Chef Sarrah learned to cook from her mother, back home. After moving to Canada, she kept cooking the same way for her family, and people around her started asking for more. That's how Ghar Jaisa Khana started, and now it's delivered fresh across the GTA.
We work out of a commercial kitchen that is health inspected, so there's no compromise on the quality of your food.
Your whole week comes in one delivery by default. Tap the toggle to see the other option, splitting it into two.
All your meals come at once. They stay good in your fridge all week.
Half your meals come first. The rest come freshly cooked a few days later.
Just pick "Split Delivery" at checkout. That's it.
Chef Sarrah cooks and packs every vegetarian meal herself, with the same care she'd use for her own family.
Chef Sarrah cooks with the same recipes and spices her mother taught her, asli tadka, asli ghar ka swad. Every meal is prepped, packed, and delivered fresh each week, so you don't have to shop, cook, or clean up.

Big portions. Select meals come with 2 fresh rotis too. Never skimpy, always a proper homestyle serving.

From hearty Daal Makhani and creamy Paneer Butter Masala to light Veg Paneer Biryani and comforting Pav Bhaji, there's always something new on the menu.

Chef Sarrah's vegetarian meals are made with complete separation from any non-veg cooking. No shared utensils, no shared containers, no shared space.

All vegetarian meals are cooked in a fully separate kitchen space, never in the same area as non-vegetarian food.

Every vegetarian meal is packed in dedicated containers with utensils never used for non-veg cooking.

Chana Masala and roti, soft and well balanced. Ordered from North York, showed up on time, tasted fresh. Sometimes simple is all you need.
Tried one week, liked it. Aloo Gobhi was well made, Tawa Mix Veg was colorful and fresh. Roti came soft both times. Upgrading to the bigger plan this week.
My sister kept telling me to try Chef Sarrah's meals and I kept putting it off. Finally ordered and the Saag with Makki Roti was so authentic I actually texted her immediately. Proper Punjabi taste, not watered down for a general audience. Really impressed.
Very satisfied with the quality as well as the quantity. Keep it up!
As a vegetarian finding proper Indian meal prep in this city has always been a struggle. Chef Sarrah gets it right — Veg Paneer Biryani, Pav Bhaji, Veg Manchurian all tasted authentic and fresh. Nothing felt like it had been sitting around. Already told everyone in Brampton and Mississauga.
Paneer Butter Masala was rich and creamy, Chana Masala was hearty, roti was soft. For what you get vs what you pay this is genuinely good value in a city where eating out adds up so fast. started because of the 5+1 offer, stayed because the food is just that good.
Started telling our neighbors in Brampton after our first week and it spread fast. At least five families on our floor order now. Tawa Mix Veg, Paneer Biryani, Daal Makhani — consistently good every week. Word travels when the food is actually this good.
That's really the best way I can describe it. Chef Sarrah's Baingan Bharta still gets me every time. Smoky, silky, properly spiced. Ordering from Scarborough and it always shows up fresh.
The Daal Makhani alone keeps me coming back. Creamy, slow cooked, buttery without feeling heavy. The roti is always fresh. Best food decision I've made since moving to Canada.
Not mushy, not too dry, spiced properly. Exactly what Aloo Gobhi should be and so rarely is.
Went in with low expectations honestly. Veg Hakka Noodles were way better than most GTA spots I've tried. Veg Manchurian was crispy and punchy. Daal Tadka rounded it out nicely. Upgrading next week.
Thick bhaji, buttery toasted pav. I genuinely sat there for a second just appreciating it. Living in Mississauga you don't expect this kind of thing from a delivery service.
I have to be careful about cross contamination so knowing this is fully vegetarian genuinely matters to me. But beyond that the food is actually good. Daal Makhani was slow cooked the way it should be. Aloo Gobhi was spiced beautifully. Happy I found this in Brampton.
I ordered one week mostly out of curiosity and my husband ended up completely won over. The Baingan Bharta reminded him of his mother's recipe from Rajasthan. He asked me to keep ordering before I'd even finished my half. The Saag with Makki Roti was my favorite. Mississauga finally has something worth getting excited about. 5 meals and a free one — good way to get someone hooked.
Colorful, well spiced, didn't feel like diet food at all. Ate it in like 10 minutes.
Four of us, all vegetarian, and Chef Sarrah's meals have become the thing we actually look forward to each week. The kids love the Daal Tadka with roti, my wife and I rotate between the Saag with Makki Roti and the Veg Paneer Biryani. Two months in and nothing has felt repetitive. Split delivery keeps everything tasting like it just came out of the kitchen.
No weird aftertaste, no preservative smell. The Baingan Bharta and Chana Masala both tasted genuinely home cooked. That's rare. the free meal on the 5 plan is a nice touch.
The sauce actually clings to the Veg Manchurian instead of just sitting at the bottom. Bold flavor, good heat level. Better than a lot of restaurant versions I've had around GTA.
I'm a working mom in Mississauga and getting my kids to eat proper Indian food without spending an hour cooking is basically impossible. The Pav Bhaji was a hit, they kept asking for more. The Paneer Butter Masala and Veg Paneer Biryani were both really well done. Having meals split across the week means nothing sits around getting old either. This has made my evenings so much easier.
I've lived in Toronto for four years and finding baingan bharta that actually tastes smoky and real has been impossible until now. Chef Sarrah's version is exactly what I grew up eating. Really happy I found this.
Daal Tadka with roti on a cold evening. That's genuinely all I needed.
We're vegetarian so finding meal prep that actually works for us in the GTA is a whole thing. First week we had Chana Masala, Saag with Makki Roti, and Daal Makhani. Every single one tasted like it was made fresh that day. The split delivery kept everything tasting great too. Not looking back.
The Paneer Butter Masala and Daal Makhani were both really solid. Aloo Gobhi was well spiced, not too dry. My only thing is I wish the portions were a little bigger but the flavors make up for it honestly. Will keep ordering.
Street food level. No notes.
The Veg Manchurian brought me right back. Crispy outside, saucy, that sweet-spice balance that's so hard to get right. Combined that with the Paneer Biryani and it was honestly a really good week of eating. the 5 plus a free meal offer is what got us to finally try it.
Ordered this kind of as a throwaway choice and ended up finishing it way faster than I planned to. Well seasoned, good texture, not greasy at all. Didn't expect this level from a meal prep service.
My husband and I started with one week just to try something new and now we're on the full plan. What got us was how fresh everything felt — split delivery so you're not eating the same thing reheated four days later. The Baingan Bharta and Daal Tadka were both outstanding, genuinely felt home cooked. got the 5+1 plan and honestly the free meal sealed the deal.
Just really really good. the 5+1 deal made it easy to just go for it.
I work long hours and by the time I get home the last thing I want to do is stand in the kitchen for an hour. The meals come split across the week so everything stays fresh which I really appreciate. The Saag with Makki Roti was so warming, felt like a Sunday meal even on a Wednesday night.
I was skeptical at first because I've been burned by meal delivery before but this is genuinely different. The Paneer Butter Masala tasted like something my masi would make, not like it came out of a container. Been in Mississauga six years and this is the first time I've felt like I'm eating properly.
